User Account Requests

:
NOTE: This page needs to be updated.
This page describes the process of requesting a user account for using the cloud cluster.
Note: In order to request an account, the principal investigator of one of the approved
ClusterOverview projects must sponsor the account.
In short, the procedure for requesting an account on
ClusterOverview involves creating an account on the
CloudOpenCloud @ CMU wiki; and downloading 2 forms, filling out and returning
both of them to us by e-mail. Once your account is created, you'll receive a message from the
ClusterOverview system administrator.
Please, carefully read and follow the detailed instructions outlined below. Remember to include in your e-mail (1) the name of the computer from which you will be connecting to
ClusterOverview and (2) your user name (
WikiGuest?) for the
ClusterOverview @ CMU wiki.
