FAQ: How do I check the quota for my allocated storage?

HDFS Storage: To check the quota for your home directory use dfs-repquota as follows. Note: Raw disk is calculated based the actual disk consumption of your files * all of their replicas. The default replication factor is 3, so a 1 MB file will consume 3.0 MB of raw disk.
(skitch@shell1) ~ > dfs-repquota
HDFS Quotas for hdfs://t1disc-pnn:8020/user/skitch
Data: 328.6 GB
raw disk files + directories = names
            -------- ------------- ------------- -------------
    quota: 1.0 TB none
     used: 662.3 GB 9590 86 = 9676
remaining: 361.7 GB inf

Home directory quota: You can execute =quota -s:
(skitch@shell1) ~ > quota -s
Disk quotas for user skitch (uid 288):
Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace
