FAQ: Is the data in the cloud cluster backed up?

Answer:

No. The data in the cluster is not backed up. You should make your own copies of the data in order to avoid data losses. Keep in mind that as the size of the cluster increases, so does the probability of a single component failure, thus disks and node failures are frequent.
