Quick Start Guide for the Cloud Cluster

After having applied for an account and received your account information:

  1. Log on to the cluster
  2. Submit jobs from the login node
  3. Setup proxy in your web browser, for monitoring Hadoop jobs
  4. Monitor your jobs using the status page of the Web interface
  5. Upload data to HDFS, or download data from HDFS
